As corporations pursue growth through globalization, they have encountered new challenging responsibilities that impose limits to their growth and potential profits. The current situation of economic crisis is raising voices suggesting a new era of social responsibility.

| 15:00 – 16:50 - Roundtable II: An integrated model of international value creation: Description and Application |
This roundtable addresses the prevailing assumption that internationalization processes always add value. Companies that are engaging in internationalization (beyond exports) are faced with the need to rethink their product value proposition, operations models, human resource profiles, and ways in which they cooperate with their new host communities (i.e., stake-holder relations and CSR). Furthermore, how do companies create continuous learning from these experiences in order to benefit from prior attempts to internationalize?
Senior leaders from emerging market multinationals will present their experiences, lessons learned, and current efforts regarding knowledge creation.
